Today we met up with family friends and spent the day in
Danshui. The area is rather nice and close to the sea. Many couples like to go there and spend the day together.

Metro stop, rather similar to the DC Metro, in my opinion.
Ride fares are also paid by the distance travelled.
In this case, a 14 stop ride was 40NT.

Very interesting snack, kind of like potato chips I guess.
You could get it in different flavors and eat it by breaking it off piece by piece.

Danshui is also well known for the eggs, apparently. You can't get them like this anywhere else.
("Dan" = egg, though I don't know about the specific character used.)

I'm not sure what he's playing but it honestly looks like he's playing a saw using a violin bow. Sounded beautiful though.
